Abstract

Synthesis of a series of N'-(substitutedbenzylidene/methelene)-2,2-difluorobenzo[d][1,3]dioxole-5-carbohydrazide. (4a-o) was achieved from different aryl aldehyde and 2,2-difluorobenzo[d][1,3]dioxole-5-carbohydrazide using few drops of acetic acid added and refluxed with good yield. The structures of the products were supported by FTIR, PMR and mass spectral data.
