3rd Indo-Malaysian Conference on “Industry-Academia Interaction: Strategies and Challenges” is organized by Association of Pharmacy Professionals (APP), Gujarat branch in collaboration with app Malaysian International branch &Host By Shree Swaminarayan Sanskar Pharmacy College, Zundal – Gandhinagar On 8th October 2018 (Monday), where Active participants 311 (delegates) participated and from which 72 scientific Posters were presented.
Inauguration done with the welcome speech of Prof. B. N. Suhagia Sir, Organizing Chairman & Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, DDU-Nadiad, in presence of Prof. J. K. Patel, Co-Convener & President of APP Gujarat State Branch, Managing Trustee of Shree Swaminarayan Sanskar Deep Trust Param Pujya Shastri Swami Shri Purshottam Charandasji, Dr. M. M. Patel, Director of Shree Swaminarayan Sanskar Pharmacy college, dignified speakers and Dr. Chirag J. Patel, Coordinator of the conference.

1st Speaker Dr. V. Subramaniyan, Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, MAHSA University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia delivered a scientific keynotes on Title – “Fundamental Health Research Challenges in Formulation of Research Questions, Hypothesis & Objectives”, 2nd Speaker Dr. Kashyap Nagariya, Senior Research Scientist (Manager), Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat delivered a lecture on Title “Sterile Formulation Development: Challenges, Strategies, Automation” after that 3rd Speaker Dr. Poras Patel, Owner & Editor in Chief, International Journal for Pharmaceutical Research Scholars shared his invaluable knowledge on the Title “Carrier opportunities in IT field as a Pharmacist”.
67 posters were presented by faculties from various pharmacy institutions, students and researchers in 4 main categories of Poster presentation competition like 1) Pharmaceutics – 33 Posters received, 2) Pharmaceutical chemistry/ QA – 14 Posters received, 3) Pharmacognosy – 10 Posters received & 4) Pharmacology/Clinical Pharmacy – 10 Posters received. Former Principal, Vadasma Pharmacy College – in Pharmaceutics 4) Dr. Shailesh Prajapti, Principal, Kalol Institute of Pharmacy, Kalol, Gujarat. – in Pharmaceutics & 5) Dr. Vinay Darji, Associate Professor, Sharda School of Pharmacy, Pethapur, Gujarat – in P’cology subject.
